The Original K-Burger
The first LOTTERIA opened in Seoul in 1979 and became Korea's No.1 burger brand, the one Koreans grew up eating. The name joins Lotte and cafeteria, and the idea behind it was plain: build a burger for Korean tables.

Seoul, 1979
LOTTERIA opened in Seoul in 1979, when Korea had almost no burger restaurants to copy. So the first menu was written from scratch, and that counter set the recipe book the kitchen still works from today.
Built for the Korean table
Bulgogi, the sweet soy marinade Koreans grill beef in, went onto the patty. Rice turned into a bun. Shrimp moved from side dish to headline. Each of those ideas came off a Korean dinner table, and each one is still on the board in Fullerton.

1,600 restaurants, seven countries
More than 1,600 LOTTERIA restaurants now run across seven countries. The board changes from market to market, but the center holds: a Korean burger, cooked to order, at a price a family can walk in and pay.
The brand refreshed its identity in 2024. The LOTTERIA wordmark got cleaner, the red and the yellow got bolder, and "Have Fun Everyday" moved to the front of it. Fullerton is the first restaurant in the United States built on that identity from day one.
Fullerton, 2025
We opened at 150 W Orangethorpe Avenue in August 2025, the first LOTTERIA in the United States. You get a drive-thru, a dining room, and a kitchen cooking the same shrimp patty that has been on the Korean menu for three decades.

From our guests
Lotteria brings back my childhood memories, and it's a great place for my kids to experience the taste of Korean-style hamburgers.
