Every chain has one item it is known for. At LOTTERIA, that item is not a beef burger. It is the Shrimp Burger, and it carries the Signature badge on our Fullerton menu for a reason.
What is actually in it
The Shrimp Burger is a whole shrimp patty with tartar sauce and thousand island sauce, lettuce, onion and a toasted sesame bun. It is $6.99 on its own and 590 calories. As a combo with French Fries and a Soft Drink it is $12.77, and the combo runs 900 to 1180 calories depending on the drink you pick.
It contains shrimp, which is a shellfish allergen. If you are ordering for a group, that is worth saying out loud before the tray hits the table.
Why shrimp, and not beef
LOTTERIA opened in Seoul in 1979, in a market where seafood was never the backup option. Shrimp on a bun did not read as an experiment there. It read as dinner. That single decision is the clearest example of what separates a Korean burger chain from an American one, and it is why the Shrimp Burger ended up defining the brand rather than sitting at the bottom of the board.
Four decades later the brand operates more than 1,600 restaurants across seven countries. In August 2025 the first United States store opened in Fullerton, and the Shrimp Burger came with it.
The bigger version
If one patty is not enough, the Double Shrimp Burger is $8.49 and 830 calories. It stacks two shrimp patties with thousand island and tartar sauce, dill pickles and iceberg lettuce on a sesame bun. As a combo it is $14.27.
The dill pickles are the difference worth noticing. On the single, the sweetness of the thousand island carries the sandwich. On the double, you need the acid to cut through two patties, so the build changes.
The cheapest way to try it
Our Lunch Special runs Monday to Friday from 11:30am to 2pm. The Shrimp Combo is $9.99 for a Shrimp Burger, French Fries and a Soft Drink, which is $2.78 less than the regular combo price. The Double Shrimp Combo is $11.49.
That two and a half hour window is the best value on the board, and it is the reason our lunch rush looks the way it does.
